How do I update my profile (name, photos, etc.)?

Go to Profile > Edit profile in your Youni account. From there, you can update your profile, photo, course, year and other details. Remember, you must use your real name as per our T&Cs. This helps keep our community verified and protected from fake accounts (grr) etc.

How do I change my profile pic (main pic) ?

When you're editing your pics, the one in the first position becomes your main profile pic x

Can I change the email address associated with my Youni account?

4sure! Under Edit Profile > Settings > My Account, you can add or replace your email address. You may be prompted to confirm ownership of the new email. You must use a valid university email address.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

If you're not logged in, you can log in via your phone number + one time password. If you don't have access to your SMS messages to get the one time password, you'll be asked to login via email + password. There you can reset your password.

If you're already logged in, then head to Edit Profile > Settings > My Account. You'll be able to reset your password there.

When resetting your password, you'll be sent via email a one time password to confirm and verify you. Make sure to check junk (grr)!

I changed phone numbers. How do I log in?

If you've set an email and password before, you can login via that. If you haven't, and no longer have access to your number, then hit us up here. We can help you get back in 💜

I deleted my account. How do I restore it?

As per our T&Cs and privacy policy, deleted accounts are stored for a year after deletion, and can be recovered within that time frame. If you've deleted an account, and what to restore it, contact us here.

I’ve changed university - how do I join my new university’s Youni portal?

Yes! Just update your email to your new university's email, verify it and you'll be swapped over to your new Youni's portal instantly x

I’m on a placement / exchange / year abroad - how do I join my host’s university?

Awesome - one of the funnest things to do at uni is Youni hop.

If your host uni has given you a new email that has their domain ending, then go to Edit Profile > Settings > My Account and add your new email in - don't worry, you'll be able to go back to your previous youni's portal later x

If your host uni hasn't given you a new email with their domain, then contact us here and we'll swap you over x
