What is Youni.ai?

Our promise to our students is that we will show them everything that’s happening and who’s going. Our mission is to help us make the most of our free time, and that begins by making extracurricular activities at university as accessible as possible. 

We source events (the things that are happening) in two ways:

  1. Organisers / societies etc add their events directly in app

  2. We search the internet for events at your uni, wherever they are, on your behalf

Number (2) is where AI comes in. We use AI to help query, classify and extract relevant event information from the web - specifically, from publicly available sources. We’re basically your social event search engine, helping you see and access everything on campus, even if it’s not being ticketed on our platform (grrr).

Our AI tools can sometimes make mistakes - forgive us if they do. We always flag what is AI and what is human made. In addition, we always provide the reference link so you can check for yourself :)


How do I claim an AI group?

Head to the AI group and hit the claim button. We’ll ask you to verify you run this group and then approve. Approvals typically take less than 15mins, and we’ll contact you the second it’s done. 


I think an AI event has a mistake - what should I do?

Youni.ai can make mistakes - it’s why we always flag what is AI and what is human made. In addition, we always provide the reference link so you can check for yourself :) If there has been a mistake, do feel free to contact us and flag it so we can improve and come back better. Happy eventing!
